Grimm finale
The last few episodes leading up to the finale had been building up to Juliet and Hank learning more about the supernatural world and Nick’s involvement in it. By the finale, we know that Hank realizes he has been seeing things that he finds it hard to believe in, but he also noted in an earlier episode that Portland sure was getting weird. Do you think that he will learn the truth early in Season 2?
When Nick was trying to explain the vessen to Juliet, he described them as “species that exist within us.” I am assuming he means that they exist within some people. I did find that choice of words very interesting.
And speaking of Juliet – yikes! It seems she is possessed, but by whom? Adalind? A demon? How long do you think it will take to resolve this storyline?
And the surprise at the end, Nick’s mom – that I did not see coming. I am curious to see what they do with his mom and how she will fit in.
Did you like the show this season? Will you be watching Season 2? By the way, Grimm returns sometime in August.
Supernatural finale
Poor Dean – there isn’t much he hasn’t had to suffer through, is there? I thought that was a pretty cool ending for the season. How do you think he’ll get out, and how long will it take?
Do you feel as though the burning of the flask will really be the end of Bobby, or that we’ll see him again? It was a resolution, or was supposed to be, but we know how things go on the show.
I have always been a Castiel fan, and in the last couple of episodes he had some of the best lines. One of my favorites was this comment to Sam: “You seem troubled. Of course, that’s a primary aspect of your personality so I sometimes ignore it.”
An observation made in an episode from 5/4, that when the angels try to care, it breaks them apart, I found very intriguing. One could argue that was what happened to Cas.
I am hopeful that the Leviathans may be gone for good.
How did you like the finale? The season?
Falling Skies will be back 6/17, and Warehouse 13 and Alphas return 7/23.

I LOVE Grimm!!!!! So fun and it can go so many different areas for season 2, YES!!
Never seen Nick’s mother coming. So she must had a damn good reason for faking her death, causing her sister to raise Nick all those years. However now Nick has a tutor!
Hubby and I are happy that there will be a second season of Grimm. It’s quite different from the other shows out there. Mixing cop, detective works with paranormal!
Raonaid, I imagine we will find out fairly soon in Season 2 what is going on with Nick’s mother. Here’s hoping…
Hope we learn more about Nick’s commander. We know he’s apart of the Grimm world but Nick has never “noticed”
Agreed — he has managed to hide himself really well.
I really enjoyed Grimm and will be watching next season.
I will need to start watching Grimm - I have heard lots of good things about it!
I still have the last three episodes of Grimm to watch. Plan on having a Grimm marathon this weekend!
Have fun, Lisa.
Grimm
Yeah, I certainly didn’t see the mother thing coming either. I thought there was only one active Grimm per lifetime. Isn’t that why Nick started to see them when Marie started to die? Am I remembering this wrong?
I’m actually a little surprised about Juliet. I mean I know Nick sounded crazy, but she wasn’t even listening to him let alone thinking anything through. I mean there is a trailer full of ancient stuff, texts and film. She could have at least sat down and had a rational conversation instead of leaving.
Although I’m thinking that with whatever Adalind will maybe make her forget?
And I feel really bad for Hank. I kond of hope he learns something in Season 2. Otherwise he might just lose it.
My big thing is what type of vessen is the chief. He’s obviously something. And can clearly keep himself under control.
Season 2 can go in a lot of different directions with the story, so I’m excited to see where they go with it.
Rae, I thought the same thing regarding “active” Grimms, that there would only be one active in each bloodline at a time. However, perhaps Aunt Marie was Nick’s brother’s sister? I don’t remember. I will have to see what I can find about this.
I do also wonder about the chief. His vessen identity certainly has been a well-kept secret. A vampire, maybe?
I agree that Juliet seemed a bit too freaked out by Nick’s explanations, given some things she had already witnessed. It could have been she just didn’t want to believe any of it, and was in massive denial.
I totally love Supernatural—I havent really bee able to get into Grimm though—maybe it is because I hardly ever have time to sit and watch an entire episode! Can’t wait to see whats in store for teh boys of supernatural.. Although unfortunately i did not get to see the finale!
I’m getting a TV for my son’s room so that I can watch MY shows, not just his. And this is my kind of show. LOL!
This contest is very cool. I LOVE MaryJanice Davidson’s books & would be thrilled to own more. This is my first time posting a comment, so I hope it brings me good luck! Thanks for doing this BBB.
I’ll never have as many posts as Carol M. :o(
I only watched the first few episodes of Grimm. Maybe I’ll try to catch up this summer since those I watched were pretty good!
I am so out of touch with the tv. Just found out my back surgery did not heal and the doctor feels like we or rather I need another one. That would put me on for a big surgery and that would mean another year of healing. The rat +++++++!!!Ok back to Grimm, the mom thing has me wondering what the heck is
going to happen next season. I really need to get the whole season and just watch it from start to finish. I mean her sister raises him and now he is
the one that is the last of the Grimms?
Lisa, I have been wondering if Aunt Marie is Nick’s father’s sister, which would explain how he was “activated.”
Oh I never even thought of that. That would resolve everything, and tie it up
with a big red bow!! LOL I like it!
I started watching but quit after a couple of episodes. Not sure I am going to netflix/dvd and watch the season. Probably should since I liked what I saw.
