I voted for Lover Awakened. I have a serious soft spot for Zsadist. He’s just so broken, I want to snuggle him. Yes, perhaps I am a bit twisted.
Honestly, I have not yet read the series. I have it on my TBR list though.
I loved Dark Lover. The chemistry between Wrath and Beth was amazing, and the book was a great introduction to the rest of the brothers. A close second would be Zsadist’s book, it was a pleasure to see him evolve into what he was meant to be.
The first would be Dark Lover, which sets the world of the Brotherhood. Then Lover at Last , which I felt was skillfully written and heartbreaking to read. Then Lover Reborn. Tohrment deserved to find love again and it was beautifully written.
I love this series. It is hard to pick just 3 so I picked 1,2 and then the whole series.. I’m not very good at doing at limiting myself of anything really.
Oh My God! That was hard. My three picks after fighting over the picks with myself. (1)Dark Lover because it started the whole series. (2)The whole series because….come on you know!!! (3)Lover Mine, because it is The story line my heart sing with.
I’ve read only one book from this series, but it just didn’t hook me, I don’t even remember which one in was.
The King - I loved the character and how he developed from a hardened soul to a wonderful protector, leader and husband.
I haven’t read the series yet.
Love this series. If I had to pick favorites I would have to pick Dark Lover (Wrath/Beth), Lover Awakened (Zsadist/Bella) & Lover Unbound (Vishous/Jane).

I’m in the midst of LOVER AT LAST, which is the only one I’ve been interested in reading (because of the m/m plotline). It is a fairly controversial book among m/m fans, since a lot of people feel that more attention and care is given to the m/f storylines there. I haven’t progressed enough to know yet…
I am woefully behind in the series but that first one really does capture your attention
I voted for the first three. After the fourth the rest of the books just went south for me. I grew very disappointed with them
I had to choose the ‘haven’t read’ option. I know it’s a popular series, but I’m not really into romance novels (I’m a uf kind of girl.)
I love J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, so I voted for the whole series. If I had to pick just one it would be Dark Lover because of the relationship between Beth and Wrath and because it set the stage for the entire series. I can’t wait for the release of The King.
Dark Lover because I love Wrath and it set up the series. I also love Butch and Marissa’s book and Lover at Last.
