So I went with Paranormal Romance since it takes the bulk of what I read…
Fantasy is another bulk….
MANGA! Love manga, I can devour manga
and I chose OTHER as in Steampunk. I did not see that on there….
Romance
I started with a big umbrella of fiction, then narrowed to romance and erotica and then just for kicks I did westerns since I love a good cowboy love story. I also like paranormal, humor and historical. I’m over 40, so not into the new adult so much and definitely try to stay away from too much angst
My favorites are Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, and Romance (especially Historical Romance).
My other is science/astronomy/geology/astrophysics. True, that could be non-fiction, but I’m putting it in it’s own category since I always have to hunt down for where they move the science section at B&N every couple months…
Romance and science… two vastly far apart subjects.
I like paranormal but not into romance. More paranormal with fantasy and science fiction. I love some good cozy mysteries but also books like from Ada Madison or J.A. Jance, Kathy Reichs, etc. I love books that you get hook into and cannot put down.
I voted for urban fantasy, fantasy, and cookbooks- is that weird? Obviously I enjoy them differently, but I felt it was only fair and honest to acknowledge my cookbook hordery.
Paranormal romance is probably 90% of what I read but UF, suspense, thrillers and sci-fi gets my vote
Since there was no m/m romance, I chose romance and LGBT. I also included nonfiction (sports, music, food, art), and cookbooks!
I read mostly Paranormal Romance, but enjoy Urban Fantasy ,Fantasy and Cozy Mysteries
I read mostly paranormal romance and romantic suspense.
Urban fantasy has got to be my favourite and takes up the lions share of what I read. It has everything, good story, complicated plot, a thriller element, fab characters that you get to see over and over again when you love them (I’m not as much a fan of paranormal romance for that very reason) and usually fantastic world building. There is often a slow burn romance which is my favourite romance!
It’s so difficult to choose just three. I chose comics and YA, as I’m reading those the most nowadays, and also paranormal romance, although I love any kind of paranormal except horror.

Like the majority of people, I went with Paranormal Romance but I also like Historical Romance,plus Urban Fantasy, Historical Fiction (not listed) and Mystery/Thrillers and of course Horror Thrillers
Always fantasy! Any kind of fantasy! And that includes adulty ones!
I just voted romance because it encompasses all of my favorites which is anything with romance in it but my top two are contemporary and paranormal romance.
So…. Erotica is 6th place
So Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance take up a lions share of what I actually read- but I also love straight fantasy and cookbooks. Man, do I enjoy a well crafted cookbook! Obviously, they fulfill a different need for me
I love urban fantasy. For me it will often, at least in my favorites, have loads of action and a taste of humor with a possibility of some romance, but the focus is on the storyline and this makes me a happy happy girl.
I love all kinds of romance novels but when you throw in paranormal I am in heaven. Books about shifters seem to be my all time favorites followed by some vampire love
My choices were all over the place, but my sons say I have no taste, so I read everything.
Fantasy! It was what first made me love reading, and it’s still my favorite after all these years.
