Bitten by Books
Regular old fashioned books is my 1st choice followed by my Kindles :).
love my kindle — easy to carry and lets me always have my books anywhere anytime anyplace I want to read
I do most of my reading on my Kindle, occasionally I’ll read an old fashion book,as my granddaughter calls them. lol
I voted for kindle and paper books. I thought I wouldn’t like electronic books for a while, but when I got a kindle fire for xmas and tried it out I found I got used to it pretty quickly.
Kindle…. paperback if I must… or computer
I choose paper all the time, will use e-reader only if I cannot get the book I want any other way, and when traveling-but I still bring books when traveling.
I LOVE books in any form-paperbacks, hardbacks, ebooks. Books that are pristine and books that have been read a lot! I read equally from print copies and ebooks. I read from both sources almost every day and I always read something daily.
I chose other - I haven’t tried any of ereaders, ipad or reading on a phone. I’ve read ebooks on my computer, I like the big screen, but I find it uncomfortable for long periods of time. Now I use a Prestigio tablet for this, I like that it shows covers in color, but it’s not very suitable for reading - too heavy to hold, battery lasts up to 3 hours only and the shine of the screen isn’t too good for the eyes. I wish they’d hurry up and invent color epaper already, I’d buy an ereader like than in a second.
Of devices, my Kindle is my favorite for reading, then my iPad Mini. But if I can get my hands on the print version, I will most likely gravitate to that first.
I use my iPad mini with the free Kindle app and my iPhone for the most part. I do occasionally get to read paperbacks. My first gen Kindle Fire is too heavy to hold for long as is my iPad (regular sized).
I like to read off my HD Nook
I use the kindle reading app for iPad, iPhone and iPod. At the moment, I do not have a regular kindle device. I love reading on my kindle reading app because it easy to carry and lets me always have my books anywhere anytime anyplace I want to read.
For reading my first choice is the print copy. I also use my Kindle for books that are available only in digital format or are out of print.
I am more partial to actual books but when it comes to E-Books, I use my lap top to read them since I am one of the few last people in the world who doesn’t own a iPad, Tablet, or Kindle.
I have a Kindle- in fact I have two but my preferred way is still the written word
I’m quite fond of my old Sony eReader, especially on trips.
Only ever had a kindle
I also love the paper!
I usually read on my kindle or phone.
I use my phone or a book most of the time.
Kindle app on the phone!
I voted Kindle
If the truth be told, I read about 70% real paper type books and about 30% on my Google Nexus 7 tablet. Of course I have Overdrive and Kindle and Nook apps on the tablet. Of those, I use Overdrive (ePub format) about 60% of the time and Kindle app about 40%. Nook app is used every now and then. Some books are not available in ePub or Kindle format so the basic mode is paper. Advantage to tablet is that when I am doing aerobics at gym I can read it better than paper. At home sort of depends on when books I checkout from library in both paper and electronic format are due first. Good thing about paper format is that they are easier to renew if I do not finish by due date.
