I picked first the Rocky Horror Picture Show , not for horror but for the cult fanatics who go to see this show wearing the outfits and mouthing all the lines. I did that as a kid with the old movie Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein, Dracula and the Wolfman. ( mouthed the words ahead of the actors.) I actually had a old film copy to watch over and over. As for true horror I picked the Exorcist (based on a true story) and the Amityville Horror I used to work near this place and let me tell you this you did not want to go near that house.
I picked YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN because I miss Peter Boyle!
The Craft; The Lost Boys and The Rocky Horror Picture Show
I voted for The Sixth Sense and The Craft. I know The Craft is kind of silly, but I loved it when I was younger. I feel lucky that I saw The Sixth Sense before the ending became common knowledge. My mind was blown the first time I watched it.
Bethany, I totally agree about the Sixth Sense. It was such an OMG watching the first time, not knowing what was coming. I recently rewatched it and it was just as good, though, knowing what was going on because you see all those little clues you miss the first time around.
Firstly, there is the Exorcist; one of the best and scariest movies ever. Next there is Rocky Horror; not scary in the least but there is something oddly hot about Tim Curry in a corset. Finally, the Witches of Eastwick; two words - Jack Nicholson. Need I say more?
Zombieland, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Addams Family.
Good selection! I love Practical Magic, so i voted for it, and I also liked The Addams Family and The Sixth Sense.
There are a ton of good ones this round bur I settled on Rocky Horror because it is just pure fun, The Adams Family, and The Halloween Tree. The Halloween Tree is based on the Ray Bradbury story and is just so good and really a perfect Halloween movie! Everyone should search it out!
The Shining and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Practical Magic gets my vote!
Practical Magic, Addams Family and Nightmare Before Christmas!
The Lost Boys, The Omen, and The Shining
I voted for
1. Silence of the Lambs
2. The Addams Family
3. The Lost Boys
No Hocus Pocus! I feel like my childhood was lost somehow ;( LOL … Adams Family will have to do
The Witches of Eastwick is so cult !
The Adams Family, The Craft & Sixth Sense
The 1st 2 were EASY. Something Wicked This Way Comes was a fav for me as a kid (and now). The Lost Boys was just SO cool. Plus my wonderful father took me to see it in a theater when I went with him on a business trip. Great memory. The 3rd choice though… A few good ones and then deciding between Nightmare Before Xmas or Witches of Eastwick…. sigh. Eeenymeeny….
