i love scary movies! I’ve got my daughter hooked on them now too. The 3 I chose are An American Werewolf in London, I love the blend of horror and humor, and that scene where he turns into the werewolf was great. Poltergeist, because the acting in that one was stellar, mostly JoBeth Williams and Craig T. Nelson. And Hellraiser because, well because Pinhead. I love Pinhead. Another movie, or movies, I love are the Evil Dead movies. They are cheesy and kinda funny, but I love Bruce Campbell. And Sam Raimi is a genius. I love his movies.
tough poll! so many GREAT scary movies to choose from. My top picks are Halloween because it’s my all time favorite and to me set the standard for slasher films, Night Of The Living Dead because it’s the first horror film I remember seeing and it still scares me to this day and Nightmare On Elm Street because even though I dont find it very scary now, seeing it in a theater at 13 when it first was released probably gave ME nightmares and it has always stuck with me. “one, two..Freddy’s coming for you”
I went with Beetlejuice and Interview with the Vampire. I haven’t seen most of the movies on the list because I just can’t do ‘horror.’ I’m a wuss.
I am not into horror movies, so it comes to no surprise that my picks are BEETLEJUICE, FRIGHT NIGHT (the remake, the only good thing about that was David Tennant in it. LOL. I love that man) and Carrie (actually like both the original AND the remake.)
I picked GHOSTBUSTERS (RIP Harold Ramis) and IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN (RIP Charles Schulz, a true Renaissance man), because I love both and I’m pretty easily spooked otherwise!
This was very hard because there was a lot of great movies in that lot. I can’t wait to see what is in the next round. My first pick is “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. My first ever halloween movie as a kid. You got to start some were. the next two are “An American Werewolf in London” and “Dracula”.
I don’t really like scary movies, so I voted only for Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I went with the 3 classics in my house which are as follows Halloween, Friday the 13th and and the Original Night of the Living Dead. I would have picked more but these 3 plus there sequels are a big hit at my house,especially since my son was born on Halloween and happens to have the same initials as Michael Myers. I have seen these so many times I can predict what is going to happen before it does on screen. I also try to watch the Charlie Brown special It’s the Great Pumpkin at this time of year
The Night of the Living Dead was the scariest movie I have ever seen. Probably because when it first came out it was ground breakiing. And that ending was the the start of a new trend where endings are not always happy or expected. For pure fun The Mummy series with Brandon Frasier is the best!
My favorites are Dracula, Interview With the Vampire, and Ghostbusters.

Way to many to pick from-Beetlejuice ,Night of the Living Dead and Pet Sematary get my votes
I voted for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, definitely, though in my opinion, my vote is for the TV series, not the movie. Another favorite of mine, though not one of the choices, is Practical Magic.
