Embraced (Eternal Balance) by Jus Accardo

The Eternal Balance series revolves around Jax Flynn, who is a descendant of Cain, the world’s first murderer. Jax is a human born with a demon fused to his soul as a result of his lucky lineage, and as you can probably imagine, that makes for some conflicting moods/emotions. Today I’m sharing the top five songs that best fit Jax and his often turbulent state of mind.

Devour the Day – Good Man In his heart, Jax wants to be a good guy. But, that’s tough when you’ve got a demon whispering in your ear…

Five Finger Death Punch – Wrong Side Of Heaven Jax has been forced to do things that he’ll regret for the rest of his life. Things that will haunt him. Yet when he needs to feed the demon—praying on the violence and pain of others—he chooses the worst people he can find. Murderers, thieves, abusers. It’s still horrible, but in his mind, it’s the better side of the coin.

Five Finger Death Punch – Jekyll And Hyde If I had to pick the best song to describe Jax Flynn, it would be this one. He’s very much Jekyll while the demon is Hyde. They’re always at war with each other. Always struggling for control.

Theory of a Deadman ft. Alice Cooper – Savages This one more describes Jax’s inner demon, Azi. Obviously he doesn’t view the world as a human would. He thinks of humans as self-serving savages

Apocalyptica ft. Doug Robb - Not Strong Enough This one is all Jax when it comes to Sam. He left town at the age of seventeen to spare her from his violent reality, but circumstances just keep throwing them together. He’s just not able to walk away from her for good.

The Hometown Hoax by Heather Thumier In The Hometown Hoax Tessa and Logan are stuck together for a week camping. They’re not too happy about it at the beginning of the week, but a few days in… well, let’s just say they’ve maybe found some common ground to meet on. Naked. Those great outdoors are pretty…great…ahem.

I’ll admit it, I’m not the hugest fan of camping. Well, not tent camping, at least. Give me a full tricked out RV or a cabin with a bathroom and little kitchen and I can rough it in the elements for a few days. But if I’m going to camp, there’s a few essentials that I have to bring.

Top 5 essentials for the perfect camping trip:

  1. S’mores—Seriously, who can camp and not eat s’mores around the campfire. Not only do they cover 3 major food groups in each yummy morsel—carbs, sugar, and chocolate—but they are also delicious to eat on your own or to share bite-by-bite with a friend. Logan would’ve loved helping Tessa eat her s’mores…
  2. Blanket—preferably one that’s big enough for two. Let’s face it, those camping evenings can get mighty chilly. So when the temperature cools off, make sure you have a nice cozy blanket to wrap around you a few times, human burrito style. Or if you have company, then hopefully your blanket will be big enough to share so you can cuddle for warmth.
  3. Games—Dice, cards, and board games—all are great when you’re in the wilderness hanging out with family and friends. Maybe you’ll play a round of poker like Logan does with Tessa’s family. It’s a great way to bring people together, have a little friendly rivalry, and maybe even end up with your special someone routing for you.
  4. Spirits—And I’m not talking of the ghostly variety. I’m talking wine, whiskey, beer… or whatever your taste buds tell you. A little liquid fun never hurts when you’re hanging around a campsite!
  5. Books—Of course, no camping trip would be complete without a little reading material. Dark woods not scary enough for you? Bring a horror thriller and hope you can sleep after. Nights not very steamy? Grab a hot romance like The Hometown Hoax to warm you up!

The Queen's Flight (Emerging Queens) Dragons have always been an obsession with me. It started out with the gorgeous illustrations in Science Fiction and Fantasy Magazine. Then in college we played a role playing game called Shadowrun, where the rules of being a shadow mercenary included “Never Deal with a Dragon.” I like cute dragons. I collect Real Musgrave’s pocket dragons. I like scary dragons. I went to GenCon one year where they had the head of a red dragon snarling malevolently out at the passersby. He wouldn’t fit in my carryon, but I wanted to take him home anyway.
Throughout the years there have been dragon beanie babies, dragon T-shirts—I just wasted a half hour trying to find the shirt I wore to rags. It was an orange dragon, clutching his teddy bear, while breathing smoke out of his nose—dragon ornaments, and a dragon incense burner. Yeah, you could say I am a bit obsessed. So when Viola, the heroine of The Queen’s Flight, started speaking to me it seemed only natural to listen to what she had to say. This is how the book came about . . .

Where were you when the magic hit and all the girl dragons boomed into being? OK I guess technically the term is “shifted.” I suppose it would have been a lot more fun if I was in a park with no one around. But I was working late at my desk typing up a stupid expense report and . . . well BOOM fits a lot more than shifted. My desk was crushed. Cubicle walls knocked down and people ran from me screaming. I wasn’t the most popular chick, pre-shift but no one ever tripped over themselves in fear to get away from me. I had people look at me like I had three heads before, but it wasn’t because I *actually* had three heads.

So there I was, my glasses crushed to the floor – but I no longer needed them. My plus size suit shredded – but I had beautiful shimmering scales. And did I mention THREE FREAKING HEADS? Luckily the left and the right head were mute – or at least they never deigned to speak aloud to me. I heard them mostly in my head and yeah pre-shift I know hearing voices means you’re a little crazy. It doesn’t get better after shift. Mostly Left whispers stuff that the little red devil in those commercials say. “Have the second piece of cake,” “Go ahead and press the elevator door closed even though you see that lady running for it,” and on a few occasions. “Rip his friggin’ head off.” Right was the angelic head that says things along the lines of “Give that poor man a twenty,” “You should help that old man across the street,” and of course “Don’t use the F word at your mother.”

Mom still hasn’t gotten over that her baby is now a monster. She even joined a hate group against dragons. I don’t think she drunk their Kool Aid enough to think that I’m going to eat her and take over the world. I mean, gross. But I think she’s hedging her bets.

  1. Welcome to the Bitten by Books blog ladies! It is a thrill to have you here today. I apologize for my tech snafu, but we should be in good shape now!

  2. So, a question for Jus. Just by the content of your post, I am going to go out on a limb here and assume that music plays a BIG part of your creative process. Besides the music above are there there other musicians that you use to inspire creativity? Can you work in silence?

    • Music is huge for me. Silence just wont work when I write. Really, silence won’t work for me ever. I have to have something going at all times. I can’t even tell you how many playlists I have. Literally one for everything!

As far as musicians, my faves change all the time. It all depends on the mood, what I’m working on, ect. Right now I’m crazy about Dorothy and In This Moment. Really though, anything/anyone with an awesome tune, and something that speaks to my soul-be it as trivial and silly as Dominick The Donkey (don’t ask…)-or heavy and serious, then its an inspiration to me :)

  3. If you could only give ONE piece of advice to newbie authors and writers, what advice do you think is the most important one to give? One PRO to becoming an author? One CON to becoming an author?
What elements would you like to see more into books?

    • My advice would be simply this : Keep going. Every word you get down brings you closer to where you want to be. Closer to getting your work in front of the ONE.

One PRO, for me, is that I get to do the thing I love every day (sometimes ALLL day). I sit down to work, and most days I feel like Ive won the job lottery!

A CON would be that in working from home, its sometimes hard to walk away. When I get lost in something, I have the tendency to obsess. I get totally lost. Let’s just say that my husband is a SAINT… ;)

As far as elements, the book world is seriously lacking in Unicorn bounty hunters. Someone needs to get on that!

    • Hi Raonaid, My advice to new authors would be to keep writing. Your path is your own and you can’t worry about what everyone else is doing. Do your thing and keep working toward your goals. One PRO to being an author is you get to work for yourself (mostly), from home (mostly), and on projects you love (mostly, lol). One CON, is it’s a difficult job to take on. Writing isn’t easy. Editing isn’t easy. Coming up with great ideas isn’t easy. But it’s so worth it!!

    • I think a PRO to becoming an author is that you finally have an outlet for your creativity and if you’re lucky people who enjoy your worlds and made-up characters as much as you do. One CON to becoming an author is scheduling. Generally, you don’t have a lot of time to work on side projects when you have books due to your publishers. But that being said, it’s a nice problem to have. Thanks for asking!

    1. What is your song? The perfect tune to describe your life, motto, or relationship!

Well, last night it was HIGHWAY to HELL. Today, no clue, but I am ready to get off the motor way. LOL

What about you Jus, what song describes you?

  5. Here’s a question for Heather.

I have to admit to NOT being a big fan of camping. At least in tents or on the ground. Okay period. I enjoy nature and animals. Bugs and dirt not so much. So, you may get a laugh out of this but we are actually going to invest in a *private camping club* this year for xmas. We are trading in our house for a 5th wheel that is permanently attached in a park. LOL

My question is this: do you think I have lost my mind? hahaha

Also, what draws you to write contemporary romance versus some of the other genres and sub genres out?

    • I’ve never heard of a Private Camping Club, but it sounds interesting! When you say you’re giving up your house, do you mean permanently or just for like a vacation swap. A vacation swap would be cool! But a permanent move, I could never do. Honestly, I don’t like camping either, unless it’s in a cabin! LOL. I need comforts of home, like a bed and a kitchen and a bathroom! And it has to be spider-free!!! So, yes, possibly you’ve lost your mind. haha! But it could be the start of an awesome experience too!!

I like writing stories about everyday people finding their happily ever after. It’s fun to write in the world we all know. But I actually write a little sic-fi/paranormal too as well as adventure romance! Every genre has something that I love about it!

  6. To answer Heather Thurmeier’s question off of the contest tools widget:

    2. So tell me, what would be one of your camping essentials? Who would be your first choice camping companion? If you could camp anywhere in the world, where would it be?

This is one of those multiple-choice questions. LOL

    Camping essential NUMBER ONE
    A nice RV
My husband would be my #1 companion followed closely by my Toycup Chihuahua Kritter for co-captain.
I would actually love to camp in Europe. I haven’t camped there much but have here in the great Pacific Northwet. Again I am leaning towards Chalet or Estate camping Heather. LOL

    What about you Heather?

    • I agree wholeheartedly with your answers, Rachel! I would definitely need an RV or cabin, Hubs, kids and dogs would be my fist choice companions, and I’d love to camp in BC Canada. I’ve lived there as a kids for a while, but I’d love to take my kids there. We’re actually trying to plan that trip for next summer!

  7. My question for Jamie!

Hey Jamie glad you could make it here to be with us today.

My question for you is, WHAT in your opinion is the best gift to give a writer either for the holidays or just generally? (besides buying your book or leaving a review for authors. which we KNOW is the perfect gift!)

    • Can I answer this one too?! Best gift for a writer… COFFEE AND CHOCOLATE!! LOL. And fingertip-less gloves for cold days. :)

    • Yes, definitely chocolate and coffee! However, I’ve yet to meet a writer who didn’t swoon over office supplies. A gift card to Staples or post it notes in sizes and colors, a funky pen, a leather bound journal with a pretty design on it. All of those are winners. But a lot of writers are devoted readers too! So an Amazon/Barnes and Noble gift card or a stack of books from their favorite authors is a great gift too!

  8. To answer Jamie K.’s question from the giveaway tools widget.

    3. So if you were to shift into a dragon Queen, what type of dragon would you be?

Girl, I am ALL about the dragons! I make amazingly fun Dragon Eggs. So, you know I would be SUPER fancy if I was a dragon queen. I love holographic pigmentations so, I would SO be holo! lol

I am not sure what my powers would be (besides amazeballs), but we could think some things up. OH GODS is this how a person ends up becoming a writer Jamie! You aren’t trying to trick us all into writing more books are you? LOL KIDDING.

What about you Jamie, what kind of queen would you be? or if you were going to be an anti-hero what would you be like?

  9. If you could invite three of your favorite authors (living or dead) to dinner, who would they be and what would you discuss?

    • Hey Bonnie! :)

Hmm. I think it would have to be Poe, Darynda Jones, and Mary Stanton, but we wouldn’t do dinner. If I could get those three together, we’d hit the town! (I bet Poe would have some pretty sick moves ;) ) Dancing, drinks, and Truth or Dare! The perfect evening.

    • Hi Bonnie,

I’d invite Karen Marie Moning, Stephan king, and JK Rowling! Can you get a better line up than that? I have no idea what we’d talk about, but I’m sure we’d find something.

    • Hi Bonnie,

I want to go to Heather’s dinner party! I’d invite Cherry Adair (she’s a pip), Nora Roberts (fabulous shoes), and Eloise James (she’s married to an Italian Count). And we’d spend the whole night chatting about writing and romance and boozing it up. :D

  10. Mm, some good songs mentioned here. I am not a fan of Five Finger Death Punch but my husband is. I absolutely love Theory of a Deadman (with Alice Cooper)’s Savages. My husband could not hear Alice’s voice in the song, so he played it to me and I go “There’s Alice! I would know that man’s voice anywhere!”
And Apocalyptica’s Not Strong Enough is a theme song for a character of mine! Shh. I even got to see Apocalyptical live. They rock!

What is your song? The perfect tune to describe your life, motto, or relationship!
—- There are times when Buckcherry’s “Say F**k it” fits me to a tee.. Or SOB by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats (that song cracks me up!)
There are times when Abney Park’s “Throw Them Overboard” and “Can’t Talk About it” fits me. Within Temptations with Christ Jones’s “UTOPIA” or Sonata Arctica’s Good Enough is Good Enough.

So tell me, what would be one of your camping essentials? Who would be your first choice camping companion? If you could camp anywhere in the world, where would it be?
—- Couple books. I am not a camping person. I would find the experience incredibly dull. So I would need something to keep my brain active and entertained!

So if you were to shift into a dragon Queen, what type of dragon would you be?
—- Funny question to ask a person born beneath the Fire dragon sign! Love that about my Chinese Zodiac.. The are my totem animal! So I would say a red dragon. Something as majestic looking as the red dragon named Shooting Star in Record of Lodoss Wars but less evil.

  11. Are their any other genres that you have a desire to write?

  12. Hello! What writers have helped to influence you?

    • Hey Susan!

Growing up I was always reading and loved every second of it. But Mary Stanton and S.E. Hinton’s work that really stuck with me (to this day I reread those books at least once a year). Then of course there was L.J. Smith and John Saul. More recently, Darynda Jones and Rob Thurman (both masters of snark!).

    • Hi Susan,

I think I’m influenced by every book I read in some way or another. Sometimes it’s the way a writer develops the characters, or they way they speak, or maybe it’s the overall mood of the book. But there’s always something I take away from the book I’m currently reading.

    • OMG too many to count. Let’s see: Stephen King, Mercedes Lackey, Nora Roberts, Kristan Higgins, Lauren Dane, Lora Leigh, Ilona Andrews, Karen Marie Moning. And that just scratches the surface.

  13. Author questions

Since I have been happily married for many years, my song would be You’re Still the One by Shania Twain.

I am not a big camping fan, so I would need a well stocked cabin with all the modern conveniences. My camping companion would be my husband because he is so dependable in an emergency. Camping on a beautiful tropical island overlooking the ocean would be my choice location.

If I were a Dragon Queen, I would be a purple dragon covered in precious jewels.

  14. Your favorite read for 2015? Not one of your own.

    • Hey Mary :)

I have a ton of faves, but the one sticking out right now would be Eighth Grave After Dark by Darynda Jones (maybe because I’m dying to get my hands on the next book in the series, out in a few weeks).

      What about you?

    • Lots and Lots. Let’s see, these were the ones that kept me up all night reading most recently: If you only knew by Kristan Higgins, Of Silk and Steam by Bec McMaster, Finding Master Right by Sparrow Beckett.

    • My fave was The Martian! I actually listened to it on audio book and it was so, so good!

  15. If you could choose one book/series that you are now the author for, what is it? (i.e. I wish I had written The Da Vinci code/The Hunger Games/a physics textbook?)

  16. hi, when you are writing, do you have favorite items near by to help you relax and think?

    • Hey Dina! :)

Well, I always need coffee close at hand, but other than that? Music and fuzzy socks ;) I also have this small stuffed llama. He’s useless when it comes to writer’s block, but he’s adorable.

    • Hi Dina!
I usually need a diet coke and a snack. But other than that, I’ve got my dragon figurines and my crocheted Cthulhu that my friend made me and a needle felted angel that I took a class to learn how to do.

    • Hi Dina,

I always have my coffee, water bottle, and a snack to nibble on. And I usually have a dog or two cuddling on my hip and often a cat draped across my keyboard!

  17. So what do you plan on writing next?

    • Hi Dawn :)

I’m actually working on a YA for Entangled’s Crave line at the same time as edits for Released, the last book in the Eternal Balance series, and pretty soon, edits on Infinity, a scifi due out next fall.

    • Hi Dawn,

I”m currently doing proposals for 2 more Entangled (Hopefully) romances. I hope to write those this year. And I’m also planning to finish my paranormal/sci-fi Falling Stars series!

    • I’m starting a Motorcycle Club series for Random House’s Loveswept. It’s about a gang of vigilante bikers and the women who love them. It’s a cross between Sons of Anarchy and Without Remorse with romantic and erotic elements.

  18. If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?

    • Hey Rita :D

This is a tough one since I don’t fly (<—chicken) But, if that wasn't an issue, my ideal place would be either Italy (so I could see family) or Australia.

      What about you?

      • I grew up in Australia and have been back many times. I haven’t been back for a few years because with the world the way it is I’m afraid to fly.

    • Hi Rita, I’d love to go to Scotland, England, Italy. There’s more on my list but too many to keep listing. I don’t love to fly, but if I didn’t then I’d never see my family in Canada. So we fly at least a few times a year between seeing family and taking vacations.

    • I’d go back to Maui in a heartbeat. Riding the waves and walking on the beach. Or Paris. I loved Paris. All the history and culture. I could live happily in the Louvre.

  19. I don’t like camping.

  20. What are all of your favorite writing snacks?

  21. To be honest I don’t know what my song would be. I can’t think of anything.
For camping an essential is a first aid kit. I’d go with my hubby and somewhere warm lol
As a dragon is love to be like an element dragon

  22. Hi Jamie, Heather and Jus,

Welcome to Bitten by BOOKS, it is great to have you with us today.

My question for you three is; do you have a FAVORITE BOOK or SERIES that you have written so far????

If so, which is it and why??? HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

    • Hey Brandy! :)

Happy Holidays. Can you believe Christmas is this week? New Years is NEXT WEEK!? I feel like it should still be September…

I’m not sure. If I was going to pick based on characters, it would have to be either the Denazen series (Kale was the MOST fun to write!) or the Darker Agency series (Val, as a villain, has stolen my heart). If I was basing it on relationships, The Eternal Balance series (Jax and Sam give me all sorts of warm fuzzies)

Over all though, if I had to pick a general fave, it would be Infinity, which is in edits for a 2016 fall release. Its totally different from anything I’ve done and it was so much fun to work on!

    • Hi Brandy! Thanks so much for having us here today!! My favorite series that I’ve written so far is my Hoax series with Entangled. Each book is a stand alone novel with a ‘hoax’ theme. Each was really fun to write, but my favorite is The Hometown Hoax. I feel like I connect with the heroine Tessa and can totally relate to her situation. And Logan is just plain old delicious. :)

  23. For Jamie. Where do you do most of your writing?

  24. whats the hardest part of getting published? How long did it take to get published? whats been the best part of getting published?

    • Hi Diana :)

My debut was the first book I seriously tried to get out there, and I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. From writing the book to actual publication (which included getting an agent, signing with a publishing co, and editing) it probably took about a year.

The best part of publication, for me, is that excitement that comes with every release day. Its nerves and thrills and that kind of stomach fluttering you get when falling from the top of an insanely high roller coaster. ;)

    • Hi Diana! Every part of publishing has it’s challenges depending on the situation, book, timing etc. I think for me, the hardest part was getting the first book accepted by a publisher. The best part about publishing is having readers connect with my stories! I love hearing that a reader got the character or laughed out loud or cried. Knowing that I gave people an escape for even a few hours and they enjoyed it, is so awesome!!

  25. Redneck Woman
    song

  26. Hey Ladies!! Sorry I haven’t read Embraced or The Queen’s Flight. I’m not much of a paranormal fan but I have read both authors contemporary work and enjoyed them greatly. Heather, I really enjoyed the Hometown Hoax and I’m curious will this be a series? Maybe more from Tess’s family?

    • Hi Bette!! I would love to make a series that revolves around Cutter’s Creek and the rest of Tessa’s family. I’ve been doing some brainstorming, but I haven’t settled on an idea I love just yet. The Hometown Hoax is part of my ‘hoax’ series with The Wedding Hoax and The Hookup Hoax preceding it. They can all be read as individual novels. Glad to hear you enjoyed The Hometown Hoax!!

  27. a good dragon….. more like Pete from Pete’s Dragon

  28. hubby and I go camping with 50 friends once a year to a week long motorcycle rally… a tent is the must… we can deal with no pillow or blanket because we zip in the tent….lol…..hubby is all I need for camping

  29. who is your favorite author?

  30. If you weren’t writing, what would you be doing?

    • Hi Ann, I don’t know what I’d do if it wasn’t writing. I think I’d like to do something like Therapeutic Riding for people with disabilities. I love horses and I would love to help other people experience them too.

    • I passed on a spot at the C.I.A to write, so I think that’s where I’d be. Spending my days with chocolate and pastry ;)

  31. What is the best thing you have done for research?
I would be a big black dragon and I would be a good one.
For camping I would need a sleeping bag and I would bring along my oldest daughter. We would camp in New Zealand.
    Afternoon Delight

  32. My go to song that describes my love life perfectly would be Rhianna and Neo’s “I Hate Myself for Loving You” but as I’m a hopeless romantic I take it in stride.
My go to essential for camping would be my Kindle. So I can play music and read books if the weather sucks. I would take my daughter and my boyfriend so we could create some good memories. I’d love to go somewhere in the Tennessee mountains.
As for the Dragon shifting I would totally be a fire breathing, flying, Emerald green Priestess with purple eyes.

  33. Hi Heather, Jamie and Jus! My question is for any of the authors or all, if you choose!

Who is your all-time favorite book character, any book?

  34. My questions for you are as follows:
Jus, have you ever found yourself in love with someone you knew you couldn’t have? I went down that road once and I’m still recovering from the longing. Fate is a cruel friend sometimes.
Jamie, are you familiar with Tarot Card Decks? There’s a breathtaking Dragons deck that I use to use in High School…I could get lost in the images for hours.
Heather, have you ever gone away for a weekend and actually have it drive a wedge between you and the person you went with? I went twice with my ex husband and each time we fought for weeks after because I didn’t do things the way he would have.

    • Hey Karla! Yes, but only once when I was a teenager. I went camping for a week with my friend and her family. It was a trip she took every year and I felt like I didn’t belong the whole time. It definitely put some tension between us for a while. But then again, we were hormonal teenagers!

    • Hi Karla :)

Fate can be cruel! I’m so sorry that happened to you. I can’t even imagine… I was lucky. I met my husband when I was 18 and fell hard. Thankfully he fell right back ;)

    • I collect Tarot decks! I’m going to have to seek out the dragon deck. The Voyager deck is my favorite and the Rider Waite my least favorite.

  35. My answers:

    1. “A Country Boy can Survive” by Hank Williams Jr. (Or girl)

    2. My camping companion would be my husband and my location would be any 5 star hotel, preferably near a beach

    3. A shimmering blue one who is able to fly and also fire breathing

  36. do you ever put your own pets into your stories?

  37. What types of books do you write and what you will do this Christmas ? Thanks !

    • Hi Alexandru :D

I write YA and NA. Everything from contemp to scifi (and love every second of it)

For Christmas my whole family comes to me. I cook for anywhere from 15 to 30 people. My husband thinks I’m insane. but I love it! I’d go crazy without the chaos of a huge family during the holidays.

Do you have any special plans for the holiday?

    • Hi Alexandru! I write contemporary, paranormal, and adventure romance. For Christmas, we’re keeping things easy and hanging out at home. It will be very relaxing!

    • I write paranormal romance and erotic contemporary. I’m a lucky guest at family parties this Christmas. Although Christmas morning we’re going to open presents, eat yummy chocolate brioche and play video games before it’s time to travel.

  40. 1.What is your song? The perfect tune to describe your life, motto, or relationship!
Tell the World by Eric Hutchinson or A New Day Has Come by Celine Dion :)

2.So tell me, what would be one of your camping essentials? Who would be your first choice camping companion? If you could camp anywhere in the world, where would it be?
My sister would be my first choice because we travel everywhere together and i would love to camp at the Isle of Arran in Scottland, Lake District National Park in England or Jasper National Park in Canada.

    3. So if you were to shift into a dragon Queen, what type of dragon would you be?
…maybe one of the dragons in one of Katie MacAlisters books or maybe just a female version of Smog..except a different ending :)

  41. Who is your favorite Muppet and why?

  42. I love a ton of bands and songs, but I’m blanking on one that would embody me! It’s more like there’s one for each occasion…

My camping essential would be indoor plumbing! (I’m not the outdoorsy type)

I’ve always liked the Chinese dragons, so that might be fun!

  43. Do you have a favourite paranormal being?

  44. What is the hardest thing about writing?

  45. How do you find the ideas for your books?

  46. I just wanted to thank Bitten By Books for having us, and a huge thank you to everyone who came to hang out! Have a wonderful Holiday and an awesome new year! :)

  47. What is the hardest thing about writing?

  48. What are your plans for the holidays?

  49. Is there a genre you would never write? Why?

  50. 1) Life for Rent by Dido

    2) A lighter. I don’t know with whom I’d like to camp, but I know I’d prefer camping somewhere warm, so that I wouldn’t freeze at night.

    3) I’d be a big, sleek, very dark green dragon.

  51. Do you have a guilty pleasure when it comes to reading or watching TV?

    • I have no shame when it comes to reading and watching TV. I love the BBC and Honey Boo Boo and I read just about every genre. However, when a new Stephanie Plum book comes out from Janet Evanovich comes out, I eat Tasty Kakes in honor of the release day.

  52. Was Santa good to you? And if you could have three folks to dinner living, dead, real, or imaginary who would they be and why?

    • Hi Pam,

Santa was very good to me. I scored an Alex & Ani bracelet, sparkle nail polish and a pretty purple scarf. How about you? Three folks to dinner would be Emeril Lagasse so we could cook together. BAM! Rachel Ray to mix up some good cocktails and Andres Segovia to play guitar for us after dinner.

  53. What is your New Years resolution?

  54. Hi, all. Welcome to BBB.

What sorts of activities to enjoy for relaxation?
