I picked The Dresden Files and Blood Ties, because not only did I love the shows (and I did), but they were actually the way I found both those series, which I loved in book form too. And The Princess Bride is my favorite movie ever.
I chose Blood Ties and The Princess Bride. An ex friend of mine loaned me her The Princess Bride to read…. and it was a good book.
I chose Blood Ties and Bitten as I really enjoyed them and wish they had more exposure. Then of course Lord of the Rings, well, because, duh, Argorn…..
I picked TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD because I love it, and THE PRINCESS BRIDE because (while I find both book and film somewhat flawed) it’s very true to the original’s spirit…
I voted for The Hunger Games, LOTR, and The Walking Dead. Seeing the overwhelming amount of votes for Outlander makes me want to watch it even more! I can’t wait for it to come out on dvd/netflix so I can finally see it for myself.

I picked Outlander because it is my favorite series of books in the whole world and they are doing an AMAZING job of staying true to the spirit of the books.
Harry Potter, The Hunger Games and To Kill a Mockingbird. Don’t have premium cable so I’ve never seen Outlander ;).

I am SO loving the adaptation of Outlander and hope the show continues for years. I’ve been a huge fan of the books for a very long time and I’m so glad they are doing this series right.
The producers, writers, actors, crew are utterly dedicated to the Outlander books, the author Diana Gabaldon and Claire and Jamie. A thing of beauty.

OUTLANDER is by far the BEST book to screen adaptation ever made.
Its author is second to none. The Executive Writer and Producer is THE MOST BRILLIANT TALENT!
The costume department, the Entire Crew, even the Drivers are exemplary. The story of OUTLANDER is HISTORICALLY ACCURATE as opposed to the other “period pieces” where they chose to change history for some odd reason. OUTLANDER is Historically Accurate in every single way from clothing to dates and battles. The Gaelic is exactly what was spoken at the time taught by a BRILLIANT teacher of Gaelic to the entire cast. Nothing comes close to OUTLANDER.

I’m another one voting for Outlander - just the best series ever, historically accurate, with a fabulous pair of lovers in Claire and Jamie Fraser, who rival any of the ones in literary history.

These books are amazing, historically accurate, enthralling story line, I just can’t put them down once I start, constantly listening to the Audiobooks, there is always something new learn. Forgotten how many times I have re-read the series, already waiting for no 9 but know Diana’s books are worth the wait, always.
I vote for Outlander. Diana Gabaldon’s books are among the best ever written. Full of historical detail, adventure, and the love between Jamie and Claire is so strong it makes other literary couples look like casual friends. The TV adaptation that has been screening in the US and other countries, is already creating a huge media stir!

VERY RARE when a film or TV adaptation is successful in bringing all the nuances, surprises, mystery, tension & human feelings to life as the author painstakingly wrote these facets into character’s lives. HOWEVER, the writers, producers and actors have gone far above the stars in their efforts, and OUTLANDER is a gripping, believable, show that makes it impossible to look away or miss out!
Outlander - read the series when it originally was published and the series excellently put together.
