Bastian Hale is a necromancer who happens to need fresh blood or he turns into a mindless zombie devouring anything and rotting in on himself. He is also a cop, which makes life hard when he has to cross the line and kill someone. Luckily he has two brothers who have his back. All three of the necromancers will have to be on their guard since someone from their past is back and looking to control Bastian.
Morgan Cross has had a hard life. She floats from town to town, job to job. She also has a secret admirer-one who likes to leave her gift wrapped body parts. She has no understanding of her necromancer powers, but the admirer does and wants her. Bastian and his brothers cross paths with Morgan and realize they have a common enemy. Bastian and Morgan also feel the incredible connection they share, and hope they will live long enough to see where it goes.
Crimson Sins is a dark tale with some steamy romance. The brothers are really there for each other and will defend till the end, and Morgan is a tortured soul you just want to root for. She has budding powers and Bastian is trying to help her control them and track down an enemy at the same time. The story flows well and I cared for the characters. Madeline Pryce writes a good, sexy story I did not want to end.
