Demetri Bithanos is the good bad guy. Sure he is a vampire, but he feeds on the evil of the world. Only evil, sinful blood will satisfy his appetite. When he encounters the scent and siren song of the Dragon Queen, he is so obsessed that he will lie and kill to make her his own.
Black Rayne Silent Screams is an imaginative story that incorporates war, demons, fear, love, hate, suspense and romance. I love a good vampire story, especially one that spins off on the old myths.This one is packed with surprises. It is erotic but tasteful, and the characters are intriguing and weave an intricate web of fantasy. Rayne is young, vulnerable and an unstoppable force. There is quite a bit of slang, some typos and grammatical errors which tend to be a pet peeve of mine, but the story is riveting enough to compensate for it. I cannot wait for the next book!
