Changeling Moon by Dani Harper
Connor Macleod is one member of a pack that left Scotland two centuries ago when wolves were hunted to extinction, and now they have settled in remote northern Canada where the weather and the woods are still wild. Connor is returning home one night from a veterinary case in freezing rain when he sees the new editor of the local paper fighting off a wolf. This is not just any wolf, it is a changeling wolf and the human within it has been warned before about attacking domestic livestock. Now Connor must make a heartbreaking decision to leash the changeling’s wolf nature forever, because attacking a human and changing them against their will is forbidden. Zoey Tyler, writer and sometime psychic, really has no idea what is in store for her.
I have been watching for these books for months and I was not disappointed. Dani Harper delivers a hot, fast-paced, well-plotted, delightful saga. From beginning to end, this is a tight tale and it is hard to believe that this is a freshman novel. Pacing, plotting and performance are stellar! Mush on, Ms. Harper, we will be happy to follow in your snowshoes!

I was lucky enough to be able to read books 1 & 2 back to back in this awesome series. The only problem was waiting for the next book which won’t be much longer. If you enjoy a tightly written fast paced story, this is the ticket to many hours of great reading. Dani Harper has built a world that i’ll enjoy visiting any time.
